"What's a Trikke Skki?"
Short definition - the coolest thing on the planet!
The Trikke Skki has 3 skis fixed to its frame
allowing you to maintain a confident power stance
with outstanding control over speed and around obstacles!
Additionally, because the skis are held at a fixed-forward position, there's no struggle or strain to
hold them together or keep them from crossing, making it much easier on your body and joints!
Lastly, because there’s no need for uncomfortable
boots or bindings, getting on and off the chairlifts
is a breeze! No need to hobble around, worry about poles, or stop to strap in! Just sit down,
ride up, hop off, and you’re on your way!
"It looks like a machine of death!!"
At first, the Trikke Skki can be intimidating to look at! This is an extremely common concern for many people seeing it for the first time. The fact is - riding a Trikke skki is easier AND safer than learning on regular skis or snowboards! In fact, the average learning curve is approximately 5 to 15 minutes! More often than not - we'll even get people going down black diamonds by their second run! It literally requires ZERO experience - it's an activity that you can pick up and actually enjoy your FIRST DAY out, instead of constantly tumbling down the mountains like you do when first learning how to ski or snowboard.
Last season, 100% of the people who tried the Trikke Skki said HANDS DOWN it's absolutely, without question, much easier to ride than anything else, and expressed how much more confident they felt when riding it!
"Can you take it on the lifts?"
Yes! Simply sit on the bench, and let the Trikke Skki drop between your legs, allowing the handlebars to rest on your thighs. Once at the top, simply stand up on the foot pads, and you're off! No need to stop and strap in your feet - once you're off the lift, you're on your way!
"It's HUGE! How do you pack it around!?"
Here's the best part about a Trikke Skki: The skis are detachable, the Trikke Skki folds down - and everything slips into a carrying bag that doubles as a backpack! When all is said and done, it actually takes up less space than your ski or snowboard gear!
"What kind of boots and bindings will I need?"
No special boots or bindings required! As long as what you're wearing is comfortable, warm, and waterproof, you're good to go!
